Grounds Clean Up - June 7th and 8th Rain or Shine

 ATTENTION ONE AND ALL

We will be out at the sight working on the grounds and getting them cleaned up and ready.  All interrested are welcome to come out Saturday morning and camp Saturday night.  Pot Luck dinner Saturday night - we will find a way to grill out also.  There will be a large tent already set up for those that don't have one to sleep in.  For more information or questions, comments or concerns, please feel free to ask us!!!

CALLING ALL RENNIES!!!!!  

I hope this letter finds each and everyone of you well.  There is a matter at hand that we need your assistance with.  I was approached last season in Holly (as many of you were), by a woman who was planning a prom for 2008.  The theme of the prom is none other than "Reniassance".  She has asked my help in getting people together to make their prom night something really special and memorable.  She has asked we dress in garb, heckle the crowd and be in character.  We will need entertainment (singers, minstrals, drums, comedians)  There will be a small stage set up for such entertainers.  So I am helping her out in any way that I can.  I have a small handful of people that are interested in coming out.  Its a great way for them to see what we are and what we do...maybe even understand why!!  I ask for each and every one of you to give up a few hours out of your day for something that could be extrordinary! The date is May 17th, and I know that alot of you will be attending Mayfair that weekend.  Holt is only a 45 minute drive towards Lansing.  We need to be at Holt High School between 8-8:30pm and it only runs until 12.

MMRF Partners

The MMRF Partners are so proud to announce that we have been granted a thread on the long lived Renaissance Festival Forum (http://www.renaissancefestival.com). 

There was an add in the Frankenmuth newspaper with all of the information about the festival and one of the pictures taken at the photo shoot.

We have also been in contact with several other newspapers around Michigan to have them place the same news article in their papers.  So watch for it in your local newspaper.

Applications are starting to arrive, we will be going over them after the open auditions on March 29th.  So start looking for a letter from us if you have applied for any positions.

The character list is going to be available before the end of this week.  If you have been waiting for it... your wait is almost over!!!

We want to again thank one and all for all of their support, suggestions and comments.  We want to make this the best festival it can be and the only way to do that is to listen to what you all want.  And we are doing all that we can to please everyone.  We know that we can't please all the people all the time, but we are going to do our best and try!!!
